Call me Crazy

I am too. But I have signed up for NaNoWriMo again. And I am late so I am already "down" over 3000 words. But ... here I go again aiming for another 50,000 words. Will I get there this year? They say the second year is the hardest. I can believe that. But one foot in front of the other, bird by bird... that's the way to get there. Anybody want to join me?

Last year I signed up and had trouble with word count and some other things. With the holidays approaching I just threw up my hands and gave up.

Read your blog yesterday and after getting some encouragement from my 18 year old (plus advice on the word count thing) I've decided to try again.

Good luck to both of us. Jodi

Great! Good luck. We can encourage each other. I am not doing so well so far. I joined a day or so late so was already behind in my count. Last year I managed by always squeezing out my roughly 1,700 words a day.With only 25 days left I now have to average about 2000 words per day. That is the only way to do it, bird by bird...I'll be on the site this afternoon updating my count. Have church this morning. I'm in the choir so can't skip it to write. :-)

Oh, life is a glorious cycle of song,
A medley of extemporanea;
And love is a thing that can never go wrong;
And I am Marie of Romania.
